- greeting cards
- printed homeware products
- CAD drawings
Below are just a few examples. There are more on our Portfolio page too. To see a full range of our illustration and fine art take a look here.
An artwork for canvas prints.
A little research on shoes was needed first, followed by some hand drawing. The drawings were then scanned and used as reference to create each individul shoe in Illustrator. The hearts were also created in Illustrator and then all the elements put together to create different sized artworks ready for printing on canvas.
Product illustrations for a company manufacturing expanded metal products for the building industry.
We had to produce around 30 of these illustrations for use in brochures and other marketing material.
Using the actual products as reference these were created in Illustrator using fills, gradient fills and meshes. Using Illustrator produces much cleaner images and, as they are vector files, allows rescaling to any size with no loss of quality.
An illustration for a poster for a music event.
We started with hand sketches as usual to get ideas down quickly. Then, using reference photos, a more detailed drawing of the guitarist was completed. This was then scanned and used as the basis of the vector artwork in Illustrator. The background pattern and musical notes were created directly in Illustrator to complete the artwork.
An artwork to be used on fine china tableware. We also created artwork of mushrooms, peppers and olives for the set.
From pencil sketches approved by the client these were then painted using oil paints on smooth board, primed with a white acrylic gesso and sandpapered to a smooth finish.
